Compensation Range: $19.01 - $22.38/ hour

Position Summary:
The Summer Landscaping Student will support the maintenance and beautification of outdoor spaces, ensuring a safe and attractive environment for staff and visitors. This role involves physical outdoor work in varied weather conditions. Ability to work flexible hours and go between sites required.

Key Responsibilities:

Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and edging walkways.
Weeding, mulching, fertilizing, planting and maintaining flower beds, shrubs, and trees.
Safely operating lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools.
Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
Remove debris and garbage from outdoor areas.
Maintain parking lots, playgrounds, and utility areas.
Assist with painting and minor outdoor projects.
Support facilities staff as needed.

Qualifications:

Must be enrolled in post-secondary education.
Experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred.
Experience in maintaining irrigation systems preferred.
Knowledge of Health and Safety.
